“Travel takes people to a happy mindset,” said Friendly Group Travel founder and travel advisor Marcia Simon, APR, CTA. “Especially in today’s crazy world, taking a break to spend quality time with family or friends is good for a person’s mental health and attitude. Travel has a way of putting life into perspective,” added Simon.
Friendly Group Travel specializes in small groups for people yearning for exploration, such as empty nesters looking for a new chapter, singles who don’t want to travel alone, busy professionals who don’t have to time to plan their next great adventure, grandparents who want to create memories for their multigenerational families, and newly-employed graduates who finally have their own money to plan a destination reunion with friends.

Simon is accredited by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and has earned the designation of Certified Travel Associate by The Travel Institute after completing over 200 hours in course work and demonstrating at least five years of travel business experience. In addition, she is accredited in Public Relations by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) with more than 20 years of experience in Public Relations, Promotion and Marketing.
