Marcia Simon, APR Strategist and Team Leader
Marcia Simon, MSE’s founder and president, has been helping clients achieve public relations results for more than two decades. A former broadcast journalist, Marcia has found that her think-on-your-feet interviewing and fact-based writing skills are real assets in today’s online environment where blogs, posts and videos have become an integral part of many promotional campaigns along with traditional media strategies.
Each client has its own unique team, chosen for expertise and style to meet the needs of a specific campaign or project. Marcia is happiest when her team over-delivers on a client’s expectations – on time and within budget.
Marcia is accredited by, and is an active member of, the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), and serves on the board of directors of the New England Society for Healthcare Communications. She is a past president of PRSA’s Southern Connecticut Chapter, and is a member of Media Communications Association International (MCA-I). Marcia is also the founding member, and serves on the board of directors, of the Shoreline Network of Communication Professionals.
Christine Dunster, RN, MA Writer, Preventive Health
Christine Dunster’s passion is helping people stay healthy by educating them about preventing disease through lifestyle choices and natural therapies. She works as a writer with the MSE team, producing newsletters about Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM), and uses her experience in the field to make the stories come to life.
Christine is a Nurse Clinician-Educator with a Master of Arts in Experiential Health and Healing, a certification in clinical aromatherapy, and a certification in HeartMath® biofeedback. She completed the Mind-Body Medicine program at Harvard’s Mind-Body Medical Institute, Christine is a former captain in the US Army Nurse Corps, and she has implemented programs for military, corporate, academic and health settings.
